In order to create an effective AI-plagiarism detection mechanism, ChatGPT would need to implement Sentence Hashing of all generated output and post these Hashes to a public database or blockchain. They would need provide a means for anyone to submit text to check whether it contains any pre-existing hashes which could prove that the text was previously generated by ChatGPT.
